CS GROUP participates in Aeroacoustics 2026 in Brussels.

CS GROUP will take part in the 32nd AIAA / CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference, held in Brussels from May 26 to 29, 2026. This leading international event brings together experts from academia, industry, and government to share the latest advances in aeroacoustics.

A key event for the aeroacoustics community

Organized by the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, Aeroacoustics 2026 is recognized as a premier global forum dedicated to aerospace noise research and innovation. It provides a unique platform for engineers and researchers to exchange knowledge on topics such as noise generation, propagation, and control in aerospace applications.

In the context of evolving air transport (focused on sustainability, new mobility concepts, and noise reduction) this conference plays a vital role in shaping the future of aviation.

A presentation on fluid-structure interaction

During the event, CS GROUP teams will present their work on fluid-structure interaction (FSI), a key challenge in the design and optimization of modern aerospace systems.
This presentation will highlight ProLB, CS GROUP’s numerical simulation solution, used to address complex aerodynamic and aeroacoustic phenomena.

ProLB: advanced CFD simulation capabilities

ProLB is an innovative Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM), designed to simulate complex, transient flow phenomena with a high level of accuracy.

Its advanced aerodynamic and aeroacoustic modeling capabilities enable engineers to:

  • analyze complex physical interactions,
  • perform high-fidelity simulations,
  • make informed decisions in the early design stages,
  • optimize and accelerate product development cycles.

These features make ProLB particularly well-suited for addressing fluid-structure interaction challenges and improving both performance and acoustic behavior of aerospace systems.

Supporting the future of sustainable aviation

Numerical simulation is now a strategic enabler in the aerospace industry, helping to better understand complex phenomena while reducing development time and costs.
With ProLB, CS GROUP contributes to this transformation by providing advanced simulation capabilities that support the design of more efficient, quieter, and more sustainable aircraft.
