Our CS GROUP teams took part in the 2026 edition of the NATO C-UAS Baltic Trust Exercise (BATT26), held at the Selonia Range in Latvia. Over two weeks, BOREADES, our Counter-UAS system, was deployed at the heart of a particularly demanding operational environment.
This new participation in a NATO exercise gave our teams the opportunity to put BOREADES’ operational capabilities and interoperability to the test across several complementary phases, while working alongside armed forces and international partners.
First place in Performance Challenge 1
During Performance Challenge 1, BOREADES was deployed as the Level 2 command-and-control system within Team Charlie.
At the end of the challenge, the team finished first overall with the highest total score, demonstrating BOREADES’ ability to federate the different components of a C-UAS architecture and provide operators with a coherent tactical picture to support decision-making.
This performance also reflects the collective work carried out with all Team Charlie partners and the ability of the different systems to operate in a coordinated manner within a multinational environment.
BOREADES at the heart of operations
Beyond this first-place result, BOREADES played a central role throughout the different operational phases of BATT26.
During the Field Training Exercise (FTX), the solution was selected as one of the two main C2 systems used to support operations conducted alongside the armed forces.
For Performance Challenge 2, BOREADES was then deployed directly within the Exercise Control Centre (EXCON). This configuration provided operators with a real-time tactical air picture and supported monitoring of the various live interception scenarios carried out during the exercise.
The teams also had the opportunity to engage with NATO ACT’s Layered C-UAS initiative (LCI-X) team on the challenges surrounding the integration and interoperability of Counter-UAS systems.
A success driven by our teams
The results achieved during BATT26 once again confirm BOREADES’ operational maturity and its ability to integrate into complex and scalable C-UAS architectures.
They also reflect the commitment of the CS GROUP teams mobilised throughout the exercise, directly contributing to the performance achieved during its different phases.
This new operational experience further strengthens the feedback and lessons learned surrounding BOREADES and supports the continued evolution of the solution in response to emerging Counter-UAS challenges.
